- 8 cups organic oatmeal
- 1 cup of slivered almonds
- 3/4 cup honey (buy my honey in bulk from Costco)
- 3/4 cup of an olive /grape-seed/canola blend (found mine at Costco)
- 1 tablespoon of Vanilla
Combine all ingredients and mix/stir until you are confident that all the oatmeal is wet. Spread the mixture on two large cookie or pizza pans and put in the oven for 2-hours at 200-degrees.
Shortly after you take the granola out of the oven use a spatula to unstick it from the pan for easier removal once your granola is cool and you are ready to store. Makes 9 cups and goes great on Coaches Porridge as well as fruit, yogurt, applesauce or plane with milk.
