Definitely work on cornering. You should be leaning with your bike not your body - you want your weight going down into road not out an angle. If you need to break , break before the turn not in it. Start the turn wide, hit the apex of the corner very narrow and finih wide. Keep your inside pedal high and start pedaling as soon as you feel your body rise out of the corner. A quick stand acceleration is also a very good tactic when comming out of a corner. Look through to where you want to end up not at the corner itself. Approaching every corner like it is an opportunity to make up time on your opponents. Cornering fast is fun too! Date modified: 7/13/2005 |
